At Sileni Estates, we are translators of the land, allowing our vineyards to express their unique story. We balance the elements of terroir – sun, earth, and water – to produce exceptional wines. Our winemaking philosophy is rooted in minimal intervention, allowing the bountiful flavours of New Zealand to be expressed authentically.
With each vintage, we retell the story of our land, each time with its own unique nuances. Our portfolio includes a Merlot dominant Bordeaux blend, Rhone-style Syrah, and Semillon, which speak to the warmer plains at sea level in Hawke’s Bay. Meanwhile, our Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and ripe-style Sauvignon Blanc reflect our cooler, higher-altitude foothill vineyards and coastal sites. And, of course, there’s no mistaking our world-renowned Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
